I used to live in Bernal Heights and loved the Cortland Ave. There is a nice grocery store, lots of cute cafes, great restaurants… The weather is pretty good for San Francisco, too.

Have you visited new Peninsula Humane Society location yet? It is much bigger and nicer for animals. It is also very convenient, just off 101 near Broadway exit in Burlingame.
They are also offering spaces for kids’ birthday parties and company meetings. Space fee is very reasonable and the fee is actually a donation.
Look for special event manager on their contact page for kids’ birthday party and VP of community relations for company meetings.
It is not too early to think about holiday gifts especially when they can help animals at a shelter.
