I was taking pictures and at one point one of the dogs sat next to the girl. Then… smooch! The dog kissed the girl. The funny moment came a second later when she made a face. You can just hear her say “omg!”
As I was taking pictures of cats for adoption at Humane Society, I walked by one room and kittens were sleeping together and 3 of them were looking at me… So I just had to take a photo.

She may be only 6, but she has amazing expressions and acting skills.
Every location we went, she would pose with dramatic facial and physical expressions.
Since we are taking updated photos to send to her model agency, dramatic expression is not always good, which made her mom a bit frustrated. But I chose to specialize in children portrait for a reason. I love to capture their natural expressions and don’t mind waiting for them at all. Moms always apologize to me since their kids are all over the place, but I love to let them do their thing and capture their photos that way, so honestly, no need for apologies!
Anyway, in some photos, she looks sad or mad, but that’s how she decided to pose at a certain spot. I was rear ended on the way to the photo session, but she made me forget all about it!

And on to more dramatic expressions… She should be an actress!

High School Senior photo: Jessica
August 13th, 2012 | Posted by in All posts | Children - (0 Comments)I had a great time photographing a beautiful high school girl. She is so stunning! I sure didn’t look anything like her when I was in high school… I didn’t even know how to put make-up on.
Anyway, her backyard had great spots for photos with huge trees, vines and nice wooden fence, so we got to have different backgrounds right there.
Interesting thing was that she liks her left side, but I liked how she looks from her right, so we just made sure we had plenty of both.

I want to thank my husband for helping me with a reflector.
Even when I am photographing a wedding, I try to get photos of little children as much as I can since I just enjoy photographing children. Surprisingly, they have fun dancing or blowing bubbles at weddings. It is so much fun to capture them having fun!
