What a fun event!  You can try great wines and your dogs can try treats… It is worth a drive!

We also went to down town Healdsburg afterwards for a late lunch.

I had a chance to photograph Japanese Nou play at Hakone Garden in Saratoga.

They players came all they way from Japan for this event.  Hosted by Stanford University, but they didn’t have a space to host on campus, so it was held at Hakone Garden.

It was amazing to see the play.   Takigi means bonfire, so it  is usually played at night only with lighting from bonfire, but due to the weather , they had to put up a tent, therefore, they could not have any flame for the play.  I was very disappointed about that, since it would have been great to have flame in the photos, but oh, well.  The play was amazing regardless.

This was a sold out show.
